Wrapped HTB Season 10 with Claude Code agents driving most boxes. Lower rank than S9 (67 / 9,850) but a different game. Notes on where humans still matter.
Season 10 wrapped: 135 / 12,294 on HackTheBox.
Compared to S9 (67 / 9,850): this season I launched Claude Code agents with custom orchestration and skills, mostly let them run.
Most boxes took a few launches. The insane needed more, plus me stepping in when the agent went down rabbit holes or did weird stuff.
The interesting part: knowing when to step in needs intuition the AI doesn’t have yet. Reading the output, feeling when something’s off, knowing where to look next.
